This is a remarkable vintage 14k yellow filigree pin with a florentine finish set with three of the highest quality Australian opals. The opals glow with wonderful opalescence in all colors ....blue, green, pink, orange and yellow....at each and every turn! The opals are evenly full of fire throughout. The center stone measures approximately 8mm by 6mm and the sides stone measure approximately 6mm by 4mm each.
The opals are set atop a gorgeous lace filigree accented by a twisted rope surround and a wonderful florentine finished surround and finished with another twisted rope surround and a spiral filigree edge.
The pin is marked or stamped with a hallmark that I have been unable to identify and has been jeweler stone tested and guaranteed to be 14k yellow gold.
