Hand Wrought Austrian German Sterling Silver ServingTray Hallmarked with Pierced Gallery Surround

Presented is a stunning silverserving platter or tray with a pierced gallery surround. This is a well made and interesting hand wroughtitem with the bottom flat surface attached to the gallery surround by moldingand heat. This beautiful high finish tray ismarked for 13 loth fine German or Austrian silver equivilant to 812 ½ finesilver with a maker’s or of what I believe to be WCH; American standardsterling silver is 925 so there is slightly less silver in this alloy. This beautiful oval tray has a detailed leaf motif cutoutor pierced design with an overhang rim of small circular design. It has only afew minor dings and some fine scratches from gentle use and care and nomonogram. It is a great piece for the silver collector and an excellent servingtray.
