Austrian Art Nouveau Jugendstil Plated Metal Ceramic Tray very rare large :

A wonderful Art Nouveau tray from Austria or Germany dating to the early 1900s. I would lean towards Austrian but I am no expert.
Beautiful hand painted floral pattern of typical Art Nouveau form which look like Dianthus flowers and some small yellow ones not sure of those. The centre section is thick ceramic.
The metal surround is also strong Nouveau in shape, I think its brass based and not much plating is left if it was silver plate, it still displays very well despite the plate loss.
Marked Geschuztz to the back which translates roughly to Protected in German and is a kind of copyright mark. Numbered also 1113.

Condition wise there is crazing to the ceramic and one very feint hairline which does not go through, it is only visable on very close inspection, not on display. There are some minor blotches to the ceramic which may bleach out as is mainly to the white area but I will leave as is. As mentioned most of the plating has gone to leave a brass coloured metal.
Despite its minor faults it displays very well and is a rare and beautiful piece.
