This massive sword has a curved blade 1 3/8\" (3.5cm) wide and 33\" (83.8cm) long; total sword length is 39\". The blade is marked Fischer and 1849, and has signs of sharpening , light pitting, and a nick toward the tip. The iron hilt is marked 820 under an anchor mark, and an X mark is on the underside of the cross guard, and the grip is wood.
