Up for sale is this Authentic 1980\"s Vintage GUCCI XL Shopper Tote. The bag features a large main compartment perfect for carrying laptop, ipad, magazines, books and more...This bag was purchased in the late 80\'s or early 90\'s by my mother she carried it and others I will be listing for years.
The Gucci monogram vinyl canvas is in fair to good shape, there are no rips, no tears, no holes and it is still firm and strong: there are a few scratches on the canvas (see photos). The tote is finished with leather trim at the base corners, leather handles and piping. The corners do show scuffing or marbling and are a little darker in spots, as you would expect as vintage leather ages. The leather handles and trim are in good shape. The tote features the big bold GUCCI GG medallion and is accented with the red and green wool striped canvas, the Medallion is scratch free and shiny. Inside the bag you\'ll find the leather tab with the Gucci Knight emblem marked \"Made in Italy\" on one side and the bags serial #002.904.0131 on the reverse. The interior canvas has no rips or tears but, there are a few white-ish spots and a few ink marks from a rouge pen(see pic). All of the stitching is intact and perfect.
