Appointment Certificate! This large certificate has the hand written signatures of the President Harry S. Truman, as well as the Postmaster General Jesse Donaldson.

The certificate was sent to the postmaster in St Thomas, Franklin Co,Pa in 1948.

This vintage certificate is in very good condition for its age. The paper shows some very light staining around the edges from age. It was rolled up for years with no other damage. I believe it would show quite nicely once matted.
