Authentic Prairie bonnet late 1800\'s back flap/quilted blue gingham reenactment
This is an authentic mid to late 1800\'s Quakerprairie bonnet cap made of small blue and white gingham check. Made to fit an adult; adjusts for head size. From NorthEastern United States.
Tiny hand quilted stitches at the bill with flap back and two ties in the front. This classic and rare bonnet was quite a find. I found this in a second hand store in a small town in Washington state. The gathering is done with a thin piece of fabric that is inserted through and can be pulled to tighten or loosen. This is the real McCoy!
Condition: Scale of 1-10 perfect 9 No issues that I could find. Clean and obviously rarely used. The front bill that is quilted still has some stiffness to it. Also note the narrow lace finish.
