Original Walt Disney production animation cel “actually used in the filming of Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs.” The image is framed and appears to have beenplaced over a greenish burlap background.
The back of the frame is simple brownpaper and it has two labels. One label reads: Ralph S. Pease Inc., 665 BoylstonSt, Boston, Mass. The other label states that this is “an original painting on celluloid from theWalt Disney Studios actually used in the filming of Snow White and the SevenDwarfs.”
On the front, at the bottom left of the image, on the matt, written in pencil is “fromSnow White”. Also, it is embossed at the lower right of the matt with \"WDE\" and a \"c\" in a circle.
The matt has yellowed but the animation cel has retained excellent color and the characters are quite appealing. The cel measures approx. 5.5 x 6.5 in. The framed image measures approx. 14.5 x 15.5 in.
