Authentic Embroidered Arts & Crafts Tablecloth 20\" Oval - Natural Linen 1920s - #2 of 3 DOGWOOD BLOSSOMSDescription: Here is a beauty for you - an authentic vintage hand-embroidered linen Arts and Crafts tablecloth. The heavy linen is a light tan, the embroidered blossoms and leaves are beautifully done in silk floss in shades of green, gold, peach and blush. It was made from a typical stamped Arts and Crafts embroidery kit, such as those ordered from The Delineator or Priscilla Magazines in the 1920s.It is an oval about 20\" X 17\".The edge is finished by a simple hand-done whip-stitch. (See last photo). It would be very nice to add a fringe to make it more complete. It has been carefully cleaned.I have inspected it for you, and find no damage or startling stains -no holes, no repairs, no snags, no bleeding color from the floss. There is a 3/8\" section missing from the line of thread that circles the edge. Please enlarge my photos for close up views.
