This is an authentic Vice Presidential Limousine Flag used during George HW Bush Vice Presidency. Presidential and Vice Presidential limousine Flags are very scarce and hard to find. It measures 18 inches by 26 inches and was made by Annin and Company as part of a government contract to make the Limousine Flags. There are two pieces of suede which measure about 1 1/2 inches inside the Flag sleeve, these are used to secure the Flag to the Flag mast. Included with this Flag will be a slip of paper from the manufacturer showing the government contract information. It is a screen print on both sides, with of course the fringe sewn on. I\'m showing an official White House photograph of Vice President Bush and Mrs. Bush in their motorcade during the Reagan/Bush inaugural and this Flag mounted and flying on the Vice Presidential Limousine. This photo is not included in this sale but I am happy to send the winner buyer a digital copy. These are rare and hard to find. Highly collectible.

I worked for the Governor of Kansas during the time Bush was Vice President and he made several trips to Kansas and I helped advance those trips with the White House staff and the Secret Service. I was able to be close to the Vice President and his motorcade due to my boss being the Governor and since he was generally with the Vice President on these trips. This Flag matches the one that was used on the Vice President\'s limousine. The White House photo shown in this listing confirms that as well. Guaranteed authentic. I can honestly say the picture does not do justice to this Flag. It really is beautiful and will look great framed and on display in any Presidential collection.
