This beautiful and iconic piece was briefly used in an office and was sold to a man who had it in storage for years. I bought it and also put it into storage. I was hoping to use it but my baby came along and diaper money is needed. The leather is like new and the wood hasn\'t aged a bit.

Designed by Ray and Charles Eames and manufactured by Herman Miller on July 18th, 2008. For being almost 10 years old, the chair is in incredible condition. It appears as if it was rarely, if ever used. The leather is soft and supple, with no tears, holes or scratches. Pic #5 shows light wear on the back of the ottoman. The veneer iswalnutand is in great condition. Both the chair and ottoman have the Herman Miller tags and the chair has the order number and manufactured date. Underneath the seat and back cushions the date of manufacture is stamped as well. On the underside of the armrest there is a small scratch and isnot very noticeable unless you look for it. The chair and ottoman legs all have the stainless steel adjustable slides. Overall, an amazing chair from two of the most iconic mid century designers.
