This excellent Wakizashi sword is in original iron mounts \' I believe\' as everything fits well & signed \'BUNGO (province) SADAYUKI (maker). The healthy thick one holeblade measures 14 7/8\" or 78mm from tip to notch & is 1/4\" or 6mm tapering to 3/16\" or 5mm thickness at the spine just before the tip. It is 1 1/4\" or 31mm in height at the gilded copper habaki. The blade has a very wide wild hamon , is in good polish (some light pitting) has NO chips, nicks, or openings ! The tsuka has good original ito & same\' wrap with \'seed pod ? menuki. The iron fuchi / kashira are a boat/ village scene with gold ( kashira is worn ) The iron tsuba is very nice iron urns or pots?. Both seppa are gilded copper. The once signed kozuka blade is well used & hard to read with a iron gilded handle with reeds or grass. The striped saya looks to be in in very good condition & I see only a hairline at the opening & some light scratching. It also has a sword bag.
