Very elaborate mardi gras krewe costume. This was aquired from an estate sale in slidell la, 30 minutes from new orleans la. These are usually worn by mardi gras king and queen.They are usually hand made and take many many hours to make. It is multi colored with sequins and mirrored accents.
Its very very long and heavy. It measures 12ft/144 inches long and the tie straps are 52 in long. The widest part at the bottom is 85 in. And the skinniest at the top is 25 in. Weighs over 11 lbs!
It is missing a few mirrors and has some staining at bottom. Please see all pics. It is a wonderful piece of mardi gras! Could be displayed, used in mardi gras or Halloween.Any questions? Just ask!!
