Tiffany & Co.Vintage 1960/70\'s 14k Yellow Gold Collar Choker in Leather Box

For your consideration is a very rare genuine/authentic Vintage Tiffany & Co. Collar Choker crafted in 40 grams of 14k Yellow Gold. The piece dates to the 1960-70\'s by the style of hallmarking and personal engraving. It measures 27mm wide at the front and tapers to 12mm towards the join. The collar has an internal diameter of 101-104mm due to the slight incline in the design that shapes to the collar bone.

The markings are appropriate for its age and read \"Tiffany & Co. Stucco 14k\" on the inner surface. The hammer mark was repeated twice as the first overlapped the edgeand was not complete. The personalengravingreads \"Katherine 12-25-70\" andfurther confirms the age of the piece. This collar would make as wonderful-a-present today as it did on Christmas Day 1970.

The collar is in excellent preloved condition with only very, very minor signs of surface wear. It has not been polished to maintain the natural patina of the gold and the personalengraving has been left for sentimentality.Prospective buyers can polish the collar and remove the inscription fairly easily should it be desired.
