***NOTE: While this set is in overall good condition it is use and shows signs of use, as you can see in the last few pictures, their are a few scratches, spots ect and the bottom has what I think is a tiny bit of paint from a table it was placed on. even with that said it looks great.

This is one absolutely beautiful set. The pieces are resin (not plastic) and triple weighted. They feel like the really fine sculptured art work that they are. This would be super as a decoration, but is also perfect for playing the game. You will love this set!

This finely crafted combination chessboard and storage base measures 17\" x 15\" x 3.5\" deep. The playing surface it\'s self is 14\" x 14\" with 1-3/4 inch squares. The chessboard is the lid to the storage base. Sturdy ribs provide a friction fit to the storage base and when in use they delicately lift the board a quarter inch above the table. The storage base itself is sturdily constructed of half inch sides with reinforcing corner bracing.
