Signed inside the figurine M14 / 61 /Danmark

And the monogram BW for BJORNWIINBLAD.

Condition is very nice. However thereis a piece broken & missing from the figurine’s hat. Please examinepictures & ask any questions you might have.

Bjorn Wiinbladwas a prolific designer of ceramics, dinnerware, silver, bronze, textiles, andgraphics. His designs were mass produced by Rosenthal, Nymolle pottery andothers and he also produced unique studio items throughout his career. Thesefigures are a product of his studio and were not in general production. He wonmany awards for his designs and his works are uniquely personal andidiosyncratic. Museums all over the world have Wiinblad\'s work in theircollections. Among these are the Victoria and Albert Museum in London; theMuseum of Modern Art in New York; and Stockholm\'s National Museum.
