This figurine is in Flawless condition along with the 1 other listed separately. They have been in storage for years and are just part of a large collection of B&G Royal Copenhagen figurines that I am helping my neighbor liquidate.

From 1897 until 1925 Dahl Jensen (DJ) was employed as a designer by Bing & Grondahl. Until 1917 in modeling, then as Norden\'s (B&G Subsidiary) first managing director from 1917-1925Dahl mainly preferred to design animals & birds in particular, and as a model champion, he was especially known for his many animal and bird shapes in beautiful colors and glazes, although he also modeled several human figures, ashtrays, vases, jars, exotic figures, etc. 🎩On December 12th 1960 Jens Peter Dahl Jensen died, and left his factory to his two grand children Else and Anker. Unfortunately the factory had to close in 1985, and all moulds and inventory were destroyed. Not one of Dahl Jensen\'s pieces can be produced again. Although a tragic ending to his original handwork, it has created a demand for these rare pieces, because of their quality, their exquisite colours and their richness of detail Dahl Jensens large animal figurines have become extremely collectible items.
