You are offerdingon an original B.A.G Turgi desklamp designed by Sigfried Giedion, manufactured in Switzerland between1930 and 1950. The lampshade is made ofsheet metal with two decorativegrooves and lacquered white. There is one bulb casing. The stem is made of twonickel plated metal rods. The base is made of cast iron with a sheet metalcover lacquered white.

The lamp is in excellentconditionand in full working order. There a couple of age related smallchips on the inner white lacquer of the lampshade.The lamptakes oneES E27 (normal size Edison screw fit) bulb. It is fitted with a UK plug. Aswith all vintage electrical equipment, it is advisable to have it checked by aqualified electrician.
