These are from a rare compulation of Civil War wood engravings published by Frank Leslie\'s. Theywere published in Frank Leslie\'sIllustrated Newspaper. They are double sided with the plate or page number at the bottom of each engaving.

They are perfect forframing. These are NOT contemporary reprints. Each is done using a nice dark navy blue printers ink which is extremely unusual.

Print approx. 10\" x 15\"

Condition:Toned as expected. May havea few minor edge tears. (see images).May be light staining in some margins.

This is a wonderful find and once it is sold, we believe it will be difficult to find another.
