BEAUTIFUL 1700s ANTIQUE ENGLISH WEDGWOOD CANEWARE TEAPOT

Presented is a wonderful English Wedgewood caneware teapot. This pot dates to the 1700s. The teapot is done in the style of a woven basket. The lid has a finial in the shape of a sheaf of wheat. This motif is continued with raised wheat decorations on the spout and handle. This is an old piece, in great shape for its age, and would make an excellent addition to any collection.

This piece is in great overall condition. There is one chip, on the spout. There are a few hairlines to the tip of the spout. There is one hairline at the rim where the lid sits, and one to the left of the handle. These are all fairly minor, and not very noticeable. There are no breaks, no cracks, and no repairs.

The underside of the teapot is hallmarked with \'Wedgwood\'.

The teapot has approximate dimensions of 7 3/8 x 5 1/8 x 3 1/2 inches, with lid.
