A beautiful German 835 silversnuff / pill box. It is hallmarked with the German crescent moon and crownstate symbols and the 835 standard mark. I would date it to c1900. It has beenbeautifully made being finely embossed with scrolls. It is in perfect conditionbeing free from dings splits holes and repairs. The inside has been vibrantlygilded. It measures almost 1.75 inches (4.3cms) wide by 0.75 inches tall andweighs 18 grams. A good quality beautiful piece.
