Description Alovely genuineEnglish antiqueEdwardian solid sterling silver \"navette-shaped\"snuff/ringboxby the silversmith HenryMatthewsand with a full set of English silver hallmarks for Birmingham 1908.Excellentquality 106 year old sterling silver box,definitely not a modern re-production, has a hinged silver lidand is decorated with attractive embossed scrolls. Has a velvetlined base and crocodile skin covering on the underside of the base and also under the lid.There are no added personal engraved inscriptions or monograms.

MeasurementsMeasures approx.2.25 inches (57mm)x1.25 inches (32mm) and is 0.95inches (24mm) deep.

ConditionLovely condition,nosplits or cracks to the silver, no solder repairsand no nasty knocks or dents, a few tiny shallow age-related surface bruises, really nothing much at all. The silver hinged lid works perfectly opening and closing tightly and there are no added engraved inscriptions or monograms.
