BEAUTIFUL ANTIQUE FIGURAL CHERUB / CUPID SITZENDORF CANDLESTICKS These candlesticks are just gorgeous! I believe that these date from somewhere around the late 19th century and I also believe that these are the bases for larger candelabras. There are a couple of leaf and flower pieces missing. These stand 10 1/2\" high by 5 1/2\" wide in diameter. This can still be used as a candlestick but the candle that would fit it would be a little smaller in size because of the insert that is inside of it but there is no bobeche to catch the wax. These could also be used as a oil font for an oil lamp or a compote. They are marked on the bottom in blue under the glaze with the Sitzendorf mark. A very decorative pair of candlesticks to add to your home decor!
