Beautiful Antique French Figural Statue

This is a fabulous antique statue which is French in Origin and was created by Louis Moreau. The casting is of extremely high quality and this really is a lovely classical peice.

Moreau would have made a Bronze version of this which would fetch in the region of £5000 in today\'s market. This piece is made from the same cast but in spelter - this was typically done with all sculptures. It has a silvered finish giving it an authentic aged look. The piece would have been cast in the late 1800s.

As a figurine has a very elegant design and would look fabulous in any room. The figures have very defined features and muscle tone. This really is a statue of exceptional quality and it would look fantastic in any setting.

There is some age related wear which includes damage to an arm - a repair has been attempted on this but it needs some work. Additionally there is loss to the finish but in our opinion this only adds to the pieces vintage appeal.

The statue measures 32cm high x 10.5cm wide
