This beautiful, large table-sized radio has a beautiful Ingraham cabinet with an Art Deco design that screams motion and high-art! This 76 year-old radio\'s physical condition is near mint. The chassis is an All-American super-het 5 tuber that is playing with strong volume and no hum across the AM band spectrum. At night with an external antenna i am able to pick up a few stations on SW. The radio is very sensitive to some electrical interference (lamps, dimmer switches, etc..) but is clear when locked onto stations. Restoration included replacing the antenna lead, some tubes, all paper/wax and eletrolytic caps so it plays without hum. The the chassis is very clean and in nice physical condition with no rust. The speaker is original and has been repaired and is in nice playing condition. Volume switch is original and sometimes needs a little wiggling. Please look closely at all the pictures as they are part of the description. 60-day warranty on Tubes, replaced capacitors, resistors and labor.
