This sale is for a stunning antique 19th century silk lace tulle textile fragment of the Victorian era. It is delicate with a somewhat crisp texture and one can see the brownish hue on the underside which is indicative of the earlier era. This is not a flaw......A burn test indicates silk fibers with the smell of burning hair. It measures approximately 17\" across top edge - 18\" across bottom edge x 5.5\" from top-to-bottom edge;the bordered edge is about 5/16\" in width;flower motifs are about 1 1/8\" across x 3/4\". It is finished off at the top edge. This is perfectly useable for one\'s project, even with some tiny tears/threadbreaks throughout the lace. This is inherent with age and storage. These flaws still do not detract. This is being sold \"AS IS\" and is non-returnable.
