Description Asuperb early antique 19th Century Dutch solid silver snuff/peppermintboxin lovely condition, and with full Dutch silver hallmarks for 1846. Excellent quality example, attractive more uncommon shape,with a hinged silver lid and decorated with attractive period engraving. Has a fine pierced silver galleried border and is complete with its original twisted silver ringhandles.With no added personal engraved monograms or initials.

MeasurementsMeasures approx.1.75inches (43mm)in height, x1.5 inches (38mm)wide and1.25 inches (31mm) deep.

Date Antique 19th century Dutch solid silver,with a full set of Dutch silver hallmarks for 1846, (date letter \"M\"). Includes the Centurian silver stamp and the lion looking to the right. 100% guaranteed antique solid silver.

ConditionLovely condition,nosplits or cracks to the silver, no obvious repairs, definitely no wear/pin holesand no nasty knocks or dents either,just tiny little shallow age-related surface bruises, really nothing much. Both little silver ring handles are original.The silver hinged lidopens and closes securelyandthere areno added personal engraved inscriptions. Superb early shape and very nicely decorated.
