You are offerding on a beautiful Peter Guille sterling silver teapot. It measures approximately 9 inches across ( with handle and spout ) by 7.25 inches tall. Total weight 765 grams. Beautiful piece in excellent condition. The wooden finial on top needs some polishing but no dents, dings, damage,or monograms of any kind. Hallmarked on the side with standard English hallmarks along with Maker Mark \" PG \" for Peter Guille. Date letter \" F \". Peter Guille was an important New York dealer of antique and reproduction silver. He had two very important customers, Francine and Sterling Clark. He sold major pieces to them and became the first director of the Sterling and Francine Clark Art Institute at Williams College in Williamstown when it opened after WWII. The piece could possibly have been made by William Comyns who simply used Guille\'s mark for sponsorhsip at the assay office. Lovely 18th century design. I ship worldwide.
