A beautifully rare French sterling silver wine taster. It is hallmarked with the Minerva Head 950 standard mark (actually higher grade than sterling) and the makers mark of Cardeilhac / Christofle, a highly regarded firm, the equivalent to Aspreys of London. Ithas a been superbly designed having a heart shaped handle. It is in superbcondition, having no dings splits or repairs. Itmeasures almost 4 inches (9.8cms) across including the handle andweighs 64 grams. A beautiful very high quality piece.
