Description A beautiful decorative English antique Victorian solid sterling silvertable snuff/jewel box by the silversmiths A & J Zimmerman, in lovely conditionand with a full set of English silver hallmarks for Birmingham 1899. Excellent quality genuine 117 year old sterling silver box, a nice size, with a hinged lid and decorated with embossed scroll-work. Has attractive protruding fluted border edge rims to assist lid opening. Weighs approx 49 grams and there are no added personal engraved inscriptions.

MeasurementsMeasures approx 3.3 inches (83mm)x1.95 inches (47mm)and is 0.9 inches (22mm) deep.

Condition Lovely condition, no splits or cracks to the silver, no solder repairs and no nasty knocks or dents either, just a few little shallow surface bruises and 2 minuteteeny pin-prick holes in the lid decoration, honestly nothing much at all and a very nice silver box.The silver hinged lid worksperfectly and opens and closes securely and as a bonus there are no added personal engraved inscriptions.
