A beautiful German 800 silverbowl. It is hallmarked with the crescent moon and crown state symbolsintroduced in 1888 followed by the 800 standard mark and a makers mark. I would date itto c1900. It has been beautifully made having and unusual shape and superbly piercedsides decorated with wreaths and hearts. It is in super condition being freefrom dings splits distortions and repairs - just the odd faint mark from use. It measures 7.75 inches (19.7cms) acrossat its widest point by over 1.5 inches (4.4cms) tall and weighs 166 grams. A super qualitypiece.
