Up for consideration I have a BEAUTIFUL VINTAGE 1960\'S PINE DRY SINK WITH REMOVABLE COPPER INSERT. This medium to dark finish Pine Dry Sink was purchased circa 1963 by my parents. Because of the hinged top on the left half of the cabinet, and the 2 vented doors, it was perfect for use as a stereo component cabinet, including turntable and records. Originally the rear of the cabinet had a plain pegboard panel attached to it to enclose the the back of the cabinet. My father discarded the panel to help attain maximum airflow around the stereo components, thus preventing component overheating. Years later my father decided to use the Dry Sink for another purpose for which it was equally suited. He used it as a mini service bar. The hinged top opening was a perfect location to store and access the liquor bottles, while the other half of the cabinet with its removable copper insert was perfect for making the drinks without the worry of damaging the wood finish.
It measures roughly, 38\" in overall width, 37\" in height at the back of the cabinet, 33\" at the front of the cabinet, 19 1/4\" at its deepest point (front to back), and 17 1/2\" deep at the base. The copper insert measures roughly, 16 1/2\" in overall width, 17\" in in depth, and 2 \" in height. Considering this Dry Sink is over 50 years old, I believe it\'s still in overall Very Good condition for it\'s age. It is without damage (ie. cracks, checking, or broke parts), and shows less than normal usage wear one would expect for a cabinet of this age. It\'s being sold AS-IS, so look at the photos carefully, and please ask any questions prior to purchase.
It\'s being offered for local pick up only from zip code 11731, East Northport, NY. East Northport is located approximately 40 miles east of New York City, on the North Shore of Long Island. Unless other arrangements are agreed upon prior to purchase, the buyer has 4 days from the end of the listing to pay for & pick up the Dry Sink. Buyer must wait for an invoice before making payment. I will contact the buyer within 24 hour of the listings end. The buyer has the option to pay for it at the time of pick up with greenbacks.
