Description Abeautiful rareantiquesolid silverfiligree-work vesta case in lovely condition anddating from around 1910. Very nice quality genuine silver example, a scarce item, probably Persian, has a hinged silver lid with a serrated silver strike plate on the base and is all-over decorated with fine silver filigree work. Thereare no addedpersonal engraved monograms.

MeasurementsMeasures approx. 1.95 inches (47mm)x1.15 inches (29mm)andis 0.4 inches (10mm) deep.

Date Antique solid silver,most probably Persian; unmarked as is quite usual with these silver filigree pieces but fully tested and 100% guaranteed solid silver. Dates from around 1910.

ConditionLovelycondition, withno splits or losses to the silver filigree work and no nasty knocks ordents. Has a teeny little spot solder repair on the lid seam,really nothing, and in my opinion was most probably done at time of making.The hinged silver lid works perfectly and opens and closes fine. Very scarce vesta case with beautiful intricate silver filigree decoration. No dded engraved monograms and direct from a private estate.
