A large and beautiful Russian lacquer box painted in Palekh in 1935 by the best of the Baranovs - A.S.Baranov. Unfortunately he had lived a short life 1902-1938. Nevertheless he still managed to accomplish a lot throughout his painting career. His work exhibited in a lot of museums.Motive on the box is a famous poem \"Kavkaz\" by A.S Pushkin.Good condition for its age. Size 8\' x 5\'1/2 x 1\'3/4.
