Fabulous antique Georgian black dot paste Brooch in starburst design. It dates from the late 18th century. It will come in a good quality jewel box. Good quality near perfect paste stones or rock crystals retaining their fabulous original sparkle.All display black dots.It measures fractionally over 1 ins. across. Good hook and pin which may be later antique replacements. The Brooch is made from a light grey silver. Some light age related wear to the mount. One paste has an internal flaw - not obviously noticable. Visually spectacular. Well made and finished. Good unusual subject. Free UK shipping. Beautiful antique Georgian blak dot paste Brooch in a starburst design, circa 1790.It will come in a good quality jewel box.Good quality near perfect pastes or rock crystals retaining their fabulous sparkle.All clearly display black dots.A little very light age related wear to the mount. One of the outer pastes has an internal flaw- not easy to detect. Other than this the stones are in excellent condition.Good hook and pin which may be later antique replacements. It is set in antique light grey silver metal.
The Brooch measures fractionally over 1 ins. across.
It must have looked sensational worn in candlelight.
