Beautiful Vintage Ornate Catholic Infant of Prague Chalkware Statue measures approximately 17\" in height.  The Infant of Prague Figure is dressed in long red and ivory robes with fancy raised decorations and gold trim.  The fancy collar and sleeve edges feature layers of ruffles.  The reverse side of the outer robe is finished in red.  A turquoise blue and gold orb with cross is held upright in the left hand.

Facial features are highly detailed and delicately applied, with finely painted eyebrows, blue eyes and softly tinted peach cheeks and rose lips.  The ornamental red and gold crown with cross at top features elaborate raised designs all around.  The base of the vintage statue is finished in black; the surface of the base looks like a decorative paved stone walkway.

The Beautiful Vintage Ornate Catholic Religious Infant of Prague Statue dates to the 1950\'s, and is in Very Good Condition for its Considerable Age.  Noted for accuracy only are several painted areas that may have been touched up some time in the past.  The lovely old statue is very sturdy and heavy, and remains structurally sound.  Please see accompanying photographs.
