Now here\'s something in the Lock Collecting world you don\'t see everyday - I\'m offering an Original 1920\'s Best Universal (4-pin) CastPadlock! Very limited amounts of this lock wereinitially produced. I\'ve taken photo\'s from my 1926 BestUniversal Lock Co. Catalog... so all canproperly view this lock as it was offered back then,and now. Padlock comes with ( 3 ) original Best ( small-bowed ) operating keys and ( 1 ) Control key ( key that removesand inserts inner core ). Please note: TheoriginalControl key was produced by yours truly ( a second generation licensedLocksmithand long time Best padlock Collector ). Toproperly represent a rare lock like this, not havingthe Control key ( although notinitially offered with this lock when new ) could/would diminish it\'s value.I\'ve posted (12) detailed photo\'s...as many as will allow. Lock was produced when Best was still in Seattle, WA., has \"Protected by Basic Patents\" between the shackle, and operates as it should. Padlock does show someoverall light wear-n-tear, but still in very nice overall condition... considering it\'s some (80) years plus in age. Section of shackle shows somelight peeling of it\'s original plating. That said, if you\'re a Lock Collector of any kind, this is a piece to add to your collection. , offer away!
