The necklace measures approximately 19 and 1/16 inches long, from end to end, and will fit (closed) at about 18 and 7/8 inches in length, though the chain links are wide enough that it can be worn shorter by attaching the clasp closer in.
The inlaid central panel link portion measures approximately 4 and 3/4 inches wide, by roughly 2 inches high, and about 1/8 of an inch thick. (I have included a US Quarter in the photographs, for the measurement-challenged and ruler-averse.) The chain measures approximately 1/8 of an inch or about 3.17 millimeters, wide. The necklace is stamped, \"Sterling\", on the back of the center panel, and signed with Ella Cowboy\'s, \"E\". Stamped, \"925\", on the spring ring clasp Weight is approximately 22.5 grams, which includes the stone weight, of course.

This necklace is in excellent vintage condition, with only the expected surface scratches and tiny dings to the silver from age and normal wear. I saw no damaged onyx. The chain has no kinks or bends, and the spring ring clasp works well and holds securely. The only condition note I found was the two small connecting rings on either side of the onyx panel appear to have been plated, unlike the rest of the piece, and the plating has worn away. These rings can be replaced by a jeweler or silversmith, naturally. I have polished this, but may have missed some tarnish, especially around the hinges. Please try to overlook any dark, blotchy areas in the photos which are just reflections of the black camera lens and tripod. This is a handmade piece and will not be machine-perfect in any way. An absolutely gorgeous, chunky but feminine vintage signed Native American Sterling silver and onyx inlay necklace. A standout piece of Navajo jewelry. This item will be shipped fully insured, the cost of which is included in the shipping price given.

Shipping: We have decided to change our shipping policy, and no longer include insurance on the less expensive items. (Simply put, if the shipping cost listed is less than $4.30, no insurance is included.) says we have to include it, and we were following that mandate, but other sellers are not. Our buyers have been voting on the issue by leaving us low star ratings on shipping cost, which we simply cannot afford. So, now the shipping cost you see will include delivery confirmation only, no insurance. We just don\'t know what else to do. We encourage you to add insurance, but will make it optional. Let us know if you\'d like to add insurance before you pay, so we may add the cost to your invoice. The USPS charges anywhere from $2.10 and up, depending on the amount insured. When offered, free shipping applies within the US only.
Economy shipping can be SLOW. If you need an item in a short period of time, please request a quote for Priority or Express shipping! The estimated shipping times are estimates only, and we have no control over a package once we have shipped it.
