This listing is for an extremely old book from 1847. It\'s The Works of Dr. Benjamin Franklin consisting of Essays, Humorous, Moral, & Literary: Written with his Life, Written by Himself. Stereotyped by J A James. Hartford, S. Andrus & Sons 1847. There are 304 pages of including an index. The book binding still appears to be strong and is hand stitched. The top cover is separated though.In looking at the few pages internally, they appear to all be in good to fair condition and have been well protected inside but the edges are worn and there are some spots. The title page has some calligraphy on it with someone\'s name perhaps. The page before has some more calligraphy but I am unsure of what it states in completion. One word I cannot figure out.
