This big, beautiful 1912 German doll has been in my personal collection for many years. I am attempting to let go of some of my beloved dolls, and let someone else take over with their ownership. This is My Girlie lll distributed by George Borgfeldt. He did not produce the doll, but distributed it. Most of his dolls were made by the best doll makers of Europe. She is 25\" tall with no replaced parts or repairs. Her blonde human hair wig is older and of excellent quality, with long finger curls. She has blue eyes with mohair lashes,which open and close freely. There is slight wear on her eyelids. She has four little white teeth. Her body has the usual joint rubs and slight wear from old age, but nothing serious. She wears a pink organdy dress, which has a vintage beaded butterfly on the front. Her dressmay be more vintage than antique, but her pantaloons, slip, and onsie are all antique. She has replaced lace stockings, leatherette boots, and straw hat. I will remove her pate,and stuff her head, in order to protect her blown glass eyes. She will be insured.
