We gather up most ofthe items we have for sale from local estates of people that have retired toarizona from all over the country – some are “deceased” estate, and some arefrom retirees that need to down-size to move into assisted living apartments. webuy up multiple items – and sometimes entire collections – from estates wherethe owner had not necessarily acquired any items for the last 10, 20, andsometimes 30 years – so virtually all of our items are “vintage”, if not trueantiques. hence, the modern-madeknock-offs and fakes are not as prevalent as you might find from anothersource. BUT we do get caught once it a while – we got bit at least twice thisyear – ouch! when we realize it, we ownup to our mistakes – we will not intentionally misrepresent the age or originor condition of any item that we offer for sale – and we stand behind ourdescription.

WE DO NOT ACCEPT RETURNS FOR ALLITEMS – MOST, but not all.

YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE TO READ THELISTING “SHIPPING – RETURN POLICY” to determine whether returns are notaccepted for that particular item. On most items wewill gladly accept returns. If thereturn is because of a serious mistake on my part, I will pay shipping bothways, otherwise I expect the buyer to pay for shipping BOTH ways – just like you pay for your own gas and wear& tear on your car to drive to and from the store to buy an item and thendrive to and from the store again to return an item. Think about it – WalMart may refund yourmoney, but they would never reimburse you for the actual costs you incurred toboth buy and to return an item. So why ask me to do that? Again– my serious mistake – then I will pay both ways.

When the buyer is responsible for allshipping costs both ways – that includes reimbursement to the seller for the listings that offer“free shipping”. CONTACT US BEFORE RETURNING AN ITEM. Not so that we can talkyou out of returning the item, but so that we can be prepared and, depending onthe circumstances, we may be able to reduce or even eliminate return shippingcharges. PLEASE USE OUR SAME CARTON AND PACKING. It worked well enough to getthe item to you – and it will work for a return.

You MUST send it backto us in the same condition, AND cooperatewith us in cancelling the transaction through ’s procedures so that theyrefund the final value fees that that have assessed.

PHOTOS & MEASUREMENTS

UNLESS CLEARLYSTATED OTHERWISE, THESE PHOTOS ARE OF THE ACTUAL ITEM FOR SALE. We regularlyuse RED ARROWS to point out damage. We oftenuse flash photography to highlight flaws that otherwise might not show up inthe photos. Sorry, but we are antique dealers, not professional photographers,and Reflective Items are a curse to photograph!!!

Allmeasurements and weights, etc. are approximate.If you need it precise, please ask us to verify before you offer. I’m anold man and I don’t see so good, so I have to get ahold of one of theneighbor’s kids and ask them to precisely read the tape measure for me. If you’re old like me – you know how it is.If you’re not old yet – you’ll find out later . . .

We pack assuming that the cartonwill be shipped on each of its 6 sides during shipment – ‘cause you know itwill, no matter how many stickers you put on saying “This Side Up” . . .

We reserve the right to changeshipping carriers. If you need a particularcarrier, please let us know and we will gladly do our reasonable best toaccommodate your needs. WE NEED A STREETADDRESS FOR ITEMS SENT BY UPS. Both UPS and some customs forms ask for theBuyer’s phone number. Thisis not required – and is only for your benefit so they can reach you if theyhave a delivery question – so it’s your choice.

OVERSEAS SHIPPING: YES. WE DO SHIP TO CANADA and overseas on most items. We gladly shipinternationally. We are shipping from Peoria, Arizona 85383. We do not mark-upinternational postage costs! NO HANDLING FEES! Insurance is included. If youchoose First Class International, there is no Tracking Number available. Inbetween those two events – all we can do is wait. You will know for certain that it has beenmailed, but depending on your Customs department – who knows when it will come?Most deliveries are at your home country customs department within five days ofthe time I ship (everything travels by air these days). We will have a Customsnumber, and the US Post Office will update the online file only twice – rightaway when the item is shipped and sometime after it has been delivered.Priority Mail International cost more – and is required for all items over 4pounds – and certain other items – but they also provide more current trackinginformation. WE ARE GLAD TO HAVE YOURBUSINESS! THANK YOU!!

DAMAGE.

We takeextra care to pack items professionally.We’ve been shipping antiques for over 30 years. But, if an item is everdamaged in shipping, email me photos right away of the shipping box andthe damaged contents. We require you tokeep the shipping carton and packing for damaged items so that the carrierand/or insurance company can review them, and to send us digital photos of the damaged item and packaging.You may be required to repack the items and return them – or ready them for thecarrier to pick them up. This is how the insurance departments of theshipping carrier work – their rules, not mine. THANK YOU in advance for yourcooperation.

In theevent that a refund is in order, will only refund to us thefinal value fees they charged for our transaction if they buyer cooperates withthe seller to cancel the transaction. If the buyer fails to cooperate with the Cancel Transaction procedure, we will deduct the sales fees from yourrefund – why let keep the fees on a failed transaction instead of gettingall the money back in your pocket??? As the Seller we will initiate aTransaction Cancellation – and in the event of a refund, this kind ofcancellation requested by the Seller will have no negative impact on your status at all.
