The Redhead Ballerina Fairy #3 is a one of a kind porcelain sculpted doll by Ohio artist Michelle Robison. She has wonderful soft long red curls, delicately painted facial features and applied lashes, and minutely sculpted hands and feet. She is dressed in a Swarovosky crystal studded ballerina costume of lace and soft mesh, and is poised with one leg completely lifted from the natural wood and moss base, and two arms extended for balance. Her wings are spread for a gentle landing. From head to base she measures approximately 7.25 inches, and her base is approximately 4.5 x 4.5 inches.

The index finger of her right hand has broken at the middle knuckle . . . we\'ve posted photos of the damage. It\'s not especially distracting or noticeable. Overall, this is an extremely lovely Robison piece.

Michelle Robison\'s miniatures are meticulously executed forays into romance and fantasy. She has applied her knowledge of chemistry to create her own formula for porcelain. A believer in the sanctity of nature, Michelle uses natural supplies including moss, bark, stone, straw, feathers, etc.
