We are listing this beautifully designed and repousse decorated 1759 double monogrammed Georgian sterling silver creamer which was made by the London silversmith Henry Corry. The creamer is very elegantly shaped, wonderfully decorated with intricate repousse decorated floral designs (and a monogrammed cartouche on the front), has a very elaborately scrolled handle, and it sits on three fancy hooved feet. The original owner discreetly incised his I*T monogram on the bottom of one of the feet, and a subsequent owner added an ornate cursive monogram in the cartouche on the front of the piece. The creamer is marked under its body with a lion passant, a crowned leopard\'s head, the date letter D (used in 1759-1760), and an H*C maker\'s mark. This mark was registered in 1754 by London silversmith Henry Corry (see page 78 of Grimwade\'s London Goldsmiths 1697-1837). The creamer is 4 inches tall, 3.75 inches at its widest point, weighs 3 ounces, it is beautifully decorated and monogrammed, makes a wonderful display piece, and it is in very good condition.
