Beautiful Antique Victorian Carved Mahogany Hall Chair- c1890This is a lovely piece of furniture of English origin and dates back to the late 1800’s. The piece has beautiful design that would have an air of elegance to it. The hall chair is a fine example of high quality furniture of the era. Over all the chair is in great condition for it’s age.It has had some knocks in it’s time but these simply add to it’s character and elegance. There is some light fading to theseat from use and the back is a little wobbly but otherwise the chair is very sturdy. You can see from the pictures that the wood is a deep mahogany and ofextremely high quality. There is a small gap that runs across the seat of the chair, which is do to shrinkage over time. The legs are well defined as was typical of theera and the chair back has a wonderful detailed design. This is a collectors piece.
