ARTIFACT:This is a 1930s full dress pilot wing in bullion for the Royal Air Force. The wings are embroidered in lovely gold bullion and above them sits a crown of red velvet with bullion and multi-colored detailing.

VINTAGE:Circa 1930s.

SIZE:Approximately 1-1/2” in height and 3-7/8” in width.

CONSTRUCTION/MATERIALS:Wool embroidered in cotton/silk and bullion threads, velvet, padding and twill backing.

ATTACHMENT:None.

MARKINGS:None.
