Perhaps the most popular machine put out by Singer, these machines are strong, lightweight and beautiful.

We obtained this machine from the owner - this is a one-family machine passed down from grandmother to mother to daughter and then we obtained it. Not much more info came with the machine, but she\'s a beaut

The machine is in good condition, motor is clean and smooth. Sews a nice tight, even stitch - see pics. The deck has some needle marks as is normal and normal signs of use, but is a nice clean machine. We have provided 20+ photos of the machine and case to give you the full view of everything included. The 221K comes hardwired - no terminal/plug case is nice, and in above average condition.

All wiring checked. This machine is clean - The power cord and pedal cord have been re-wired.
The motor is stripped, connections checked (re-soldered if needed), brushes replaced where needed, carbon cleaned.
Drive gears cleaned of old grease and replenished with Singer Lubricant (grease)!!
Oil points are replenished appropriately with Singer-brand sewing machine oil - not simply hosed down with \"household\" 3-in-1 oil.
Motor is run for a 10-minute test to ensure smooth, strong, even, uninterrupted operation
Brand new V-belt (not a cheap-o stretch belt).
All machines comes with a pack of needles, handful of bobbins and new felt.

All machines are packed with care. We all know FedEx, USPS and UPS can be a little... rough... with packages. We know how to get your machine safely from point A to point B. With purchase of our machines you get:

Machines wrapped in new, high grade bubble wrap
Machines are double-boxed with new, high grade corrugated boxes
Only new void-fill is used giving appropriate clearance to meet/exceed both UPS and USPS safe packaging guidelines
All packages are insured at no cost to you

***PLEASE READ!!! If at any point you have an issue with your package/item, PLEASE CONTACT US FIRST. We will make it right. has restructured their seller rating system. The new system no longer goes by \"Star\" rating, but rather an arbitrary algorithm... this includes items lost/damaged by the postal service ( terms it \"Item Not Received\"). will request you open a case for such items, but then we, the seller, are penalized for USPS error. Prime example, we lost our TRS status due to the fact the post office lost several packages last holiday season (2013). Despite the fact that we issued full refunds on all items and handle the insurance claims ourselves, it will take 12 months to remove those from our record.***

Return Policy:

All vintage machines are exactly that... vintage. They may have cabinet wear, needle marks, etc - we provide 12 or more photos of every machine we sell so you get the full picture (pun intended). All machines are gone over, run through the gambit, tested, and shipped. There is a TON of literature out there on these machines, please make sure you know what you\'re buying. These machines/packages need to be meticulously packed and can push 40lbs - we cannot chance receiving a damaged/useless machine back in the mail.

Our return policy is 14-day returns - return is for purchase price, buyer assumes initial shipping and return shipping. There is a 15% re-stocking fee. This re-stocking fee simply represents the commissions/fees we incur in selling the item that we cannot recoup. Re-stocking fees do not apply to even exchanges (i.e. you bought the wrong size part and need to return it for the correct size).

We have a huge \"graveyard\" of parts machines. If you don\'t see it listed, we probably still have it. Don\'t hesitate to ask.

Payment

Payment is due within 3 days of purchase. Payments accepted via PayPal, check, or MO. Please allow 7-10 days clearance time for checks depending on your bank.

All orders are shipped within 1 day of payment unless otherwise noted.

All items listed as \"pickup only\" are expected to be picked up within 90 days of purchase. Items not picked up within 90 days of purchase will be resold, and the purchase price forfeited by the buyer.

About Us

SnyderSewingCo was created as an alternate source of income for our family of six. Our family hails from NEPA where Dad works a fulltime job, Mom stays at home with our 4 beautiful children and homeschools the oldest two (the two youngest are not yet of school age). The money generated from our sales enables Mom to stay at home.
