This superb ancient Roman gold bracelet has a beautiful tapering spiral form with a delicately modeled Satyr’s head facing right on the clasp. It was made from High Karat Yellow Gold wire tightly wrapped around a solid corethat terminates into the two parts of the clasp.
This rare piece of jewelry is in Excellent condition. The Satyr profile clasp is in Mint condition. Some of the spirals on the bracelet have separated only slightly and there are micro scratches here and there that are visible only under magnification. It has a very solid feel to it and wears comfortably.
This is a one-of-a-kind piece of ancient art that displays beautifully.
