This antique Dining room set is made in the mid to late 1800\'s.This is a beautiful suite with all matching pieces!This comes with a serving buffet, a china cabinet, a smaller tea or punch bowl buffet. It has eight matching chairs. An arm chair on both ends. This came out of a Southern Plantation home and was re-stained 15 years ago. I want to be sure to give potential buyers as much information that I can. This antique set is very unique and in VERY good condition considering the age it was made. All pieces are level and built solid! There are very few scratches and they can be easily touched up. The main areas needing attention are the table top and table base. There are some heat stains and a few small scratches on the table top. The base near the feet were chewed on a couple of the corners by a puppy teething. There are pictures for you to see these blemishes. These would be an easy fix for anyone who works with wood. One of the Arm chairs upholstery has come undone and needs to be tacked back. That same chair has some screws that have stripped on the front legs. It needs to have very little frame work done.... The legs are not cracked! They have just come undone where at a seam where 2 pieces meet on both sides. I\'ve included a picture of this chair alone. The other Arm chair has a small tear in the front corner of the cushion and needs to be removed and re-sewn. It\'s pictured on the end if you look at the full table and chairs set. The other pieces are near perfect with a couple unnoticeable flaws.
All pieces including all chairs have handcarved claw feet and many other details that match. Very few antique dining sets this old have all matching pieces intact and are all carved the same. There are many details that are not pictured here.
I have drawn the pieces with the sizes and dimensions and that sheet is on the last picture. Let me know if you have a problem reading any size or more details concerning dimensions.
I\'m not a retailer.This is my own set of furnisher and it is sitting in my dining room I.know this set was handed down through 4 generations. I bought it from the owners of the original family 15 years ago. I paid right at $20,000.00 for the set. I hate to let it go but updating to contemporary in our home. Don\'t pass it up. It will go quick!
