Beautiful Antique Indo Persian solid silver box. Lucknow c1890

All hand raised from solid silver it features all over hand chased and detailed pierced work depicting various animals and birds in a rich forest setting.

Quite a good sized, very tactile and beautifully proportioned box. Its hand made and actually varies in length from 97 to 98mm, in width from 70 to 72mm and its about 40mm high.

It made of a good gauge of solid silver and weighs a creditable 111g or 3.9oz.

Beautiful Antique Lucknow solid silver box and an interesting aspect of Indian Islamic antique art.
