NEEDS RESTORATIONOn the plus side, all of the carvings are in excellent shape for the chair\'s age. Nothing is missing Superficially, it looks nice. Note the fine pierced relief carvings on the chair back. The chair back is loosely attached to the seat. The back plank support (leg) is split. There have been prior restorations. There are missing screws. There are tiny finish nails. It needs to be taken apart and properly restored. 38\" tall, 18.5\" wide, and 17.5\" deep. Weighs approximately 16 lbs. Possibly 16th century, but I doubt it. Many of these Renaissance style chairs were built in the late 1800\'s.
